Acotrs Centre Ireland Founders

Actors Centre Ireland is founded by Irish actors Kevin Marron and Rachel Rath. While working together on a theatre show in 2006 they were in discussion about when they started out as actors and moved to Dublin. As the conversation went on each held back a crazy idea that they'd held secretly for years. Finally, the time came when it had to be said, and to their amazement, that crazy idea was one they shared. Ireland needs an actors centre!

This idea wasn't just a whimsical notion that had passed through their minds years before, only to be forgotten about, they had each made up quite extensive plans - and had the paper trail to prove it! Suddenly they were off, firing out lists of centre "must-haves" and more than a few "wouldn't it be great to have..." outlandish notions. There was only one thing for it, the centre had to be...
